Our Story
It started with a watchmaker who needed a loan.
In 1952, Jacob “Jack” Cohen was fixing watches at a Chicago pawnshop when he found himself on the other side of the counter — taking out a loan at the very shop he worked for. What he felt that day became three principles, a family business, and a promise that has survived a fire, a demolition, and seven decades — first in Jack's hands, now in his son Scott's.
